Nakamichi service/repair?
I have a Naka CR3 cassette deck which is surplus to requirements - I haven't
used a cassette for at least 3 years now - but it needs a drive belt replacement before it can go up on ebay. Can anyone recommend a decent repair engineer in Bristol (or thereabouts) who'll do the job for a reasonable price? Given that it's going to be auctioned off immediately I don't really want to spend more than the minimum and don't want to get into sending it off to be repaired. (Feel free to make me an offer if you're interested) TIA |

Seriously, even a very high quality cassette deck is scarcely worth
repairing these days. I have found a better bet is to advertise things "all faults" declared on eBay, and hope that some enthusiast offers you a reasonable price and has the nouse/spare parts to repair it themselves. I got rid of a non-working ARCAM DAB tuner this way for over a £100. Good luck. |
