Mission M3as sub query

Having recently upgraded the DVD scenario hereaboots with the acquisition of
a cracking little projector, I have had to match it with a DVDP upgrade
(Pioneer DV-575A) to get decent Component Video Out with Progressive Scan*
and am now auditioning a Mission M3as sub. (Well, wot else can ya do....?
:-)

It sounds (kind of) fine to me, but I'm in uncharted waters here - does
anyone have any experience of one of these - ie are they any good? The 250mm
driver certainly looks the part, but I'm not Mission's biggest fan and it's
an unappealing lump - is there anything better for about a couple of
hundred? (Talking *movies* here, not 'audio****' quality.....)

*The excellent cheep Ch***y Divs with Component Out/PS for £30 (Medion from
Amazon, for example) might look quite good on the telly but, believe me,
they do *not* cut it on a big screen........

OK, in case the lack of response here is due to no-one having experience of
this particular sub, I have now auditioned one and can advise that they are,
in fact, ****e.....

(Floppier'n a floppy thing with half the air let out of it!)
