Hi im interested in the concept of the above Sony Hard Disk based audio.

What i want to know is, is it possible to replace the 80G HD that comes in
the Sony with a larger disk ?

Also does anyone know of a similar box by a different manufacturer that has
a Hard Disk on board but that comes with an ethernet port / wireless
ethernet built in ?

Regards,

Andy.

I use a Dell Poweredge 400SC server with 2 x 250gb hard disks and a wireless
network card. Lives in the attic and serves up music 24/7 without any
attention.

It's a standard drive but i think the format is different from PC, I
couldn't find a way to format it.
To be honest, i'd go the PC way. The Sony is pretty halfarsed.
