ukra webpages anyone?
OK, once again, I *think* I'm coming to the end of my time here (and Usenet generally - it's nothing personal) - does anyone want to take on the 'ukra webpages'? http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/ It would entail hosting about 10 Meg of files for a few that can't (or don't want to) field their own website. I will send the files to anyone 'suitable' who thinks the site is worth keeping up (preferably by email) and would/will point to the new site for as long as practicable. Let me know direct (v. soon) either way, otherwise they could (and probably will, at some stage) disappear without warning as, apart from anythong else, I think it's high time this group was relieved of my continued mischievousness!! :-) Also, does anyone (whose webpage I built and am hosting) want me to send them their files (htms and jpgs) so they can use them for a page/site of their own? (Would some kind soul please 'reply' to this post in the group, quoting the whole text, for the benefit of those that have me 'binned' !! :-) Many TIA |

(The mind boggles! :-) Anyway, thanks for pulling the text through - although I'm sure I haven't been binned nearly as many times as you (yet...) ! Nick Gorham has already said he'll host the ukra pages - I'm just waiting for him to confirm he'll remove anything if and when requested, like I *promised* I would, when I started them off. Haven't heard from him yet - he's probably down the pub! |

However if you're like me then the weeks of grey weather and a notion that you're inexorably morphing into a grumpy old man are all taking their toll,,,then I can't really blame you. I'll tell you something though Keith - you are valued more than you know. Mike Ps if you've finally gotta consign the site into a cyberspace triangle then please send my files... before the reaper. |

More like the Iron Cross for taking on the 'Antivinyl Antichrist' and the SS battallions virtually single handed at times!! :-) However if you're like me then the weeks of grey weather and a notion that you're inexorably morphing into a grumpy old man are all taking their toll,,,then I can't really blame you. No, bugger that, I ain't a grumpy old man yet! I like a reet good larf, I do!! Winter is coming and wasting time at the keyboard is certainly a good way of using up 'bad weather' (especially with some good music on) but I really do have 'better' things to do and the same old arguments are wearing more than a bit thin now.... ;-) I'll tell you something though Keith - you are valued more than you know. Eee, ya soft booger! ;-) Mike Ps if you've finally gotta consign the site into a cyberspace triangle then please send my files... before the reaper. I've already sent them to Nick Gorham who is going to host the site on the same basis I did, but I'll send you a set for your own use anyhow..... |
