ukra webpages - under new management
 

OK, Nick Gorham has very kindly stepped in to host the ukra webpages which
can now be found on:

These pages were born out of a series of 'off-list' discussions a while back
that were concerned with the 'falling standards' in the group, as was the
creation of a separate vinyl group which was intended to remove a constant
source of contention/acrimony from ukra. Well, neither seemed to have done
much good and ukra has remained pretty much the same - a few naughty boys
who like a good scrap and legions of lurkers (it would seem) who apparently
enjoy the spectacle and are hanging on on every word!!!

Soooo.....

Although it was/maybe still is my intention to drop Usenet entirely,
unloading these webpages has been such a liberating experience and
(incredibly) there seems to be a tiny faction here who seems to think my
'input' would be missed, so mebbe I'll stick around for a while yet and have
a bit more fun here without worrying too much about what's happening to the
'tone' of the place....??

(Let's face it, no-one else seems to and the long, dark winter's approaching
fast! :-)
