CD transports

I've made an analogue PSU for my computer CD-rom and this is now serving as my
CD player for now. Sounds better than the switch mode PSU it came with. Many
thanks to ng mambers for help and advice. For the future - could ng members
outline what transports they use, and what good ones they have come across and
would recommend? Andy

1) Meridian 200 feeding a Meridian 263 DAC.

2) Pioneer CD-RW recorder, used as a transport feeding a Meridian 563 DAC.

Put it this way. I'd be more worried by the loss of a DAC than a transport
from the above. :-)

Slainte,

Jim
