Me mate Shiny Nigel wuz up again tonight and tells me that, in the shop he
works in (St Neots), sales of turntables currently beats sales of all CDPs,
Cassette Decks and MD Recorders combined....!!

(In fairness, I would say that they almost certainly sell more AV gear than
'hifi' these days.)

- Could have posted this in ukrav, but I'm sure no-one there needs
telling.... ;-)

IOW this is a deceptive post - the guy is selling lots of optical disc
digital players, but most of his customers have figured out that dedicated
CD players are a thing of the past.

Dearest shop in the kingdom - take it as a personal insult if you tell 'em
their Full Retail prices are a joke. (Had it too sweet - fleecing chavs for
