Damaged AV amp - repair advice please
sherwood rd6103: recently i had some friends round and my son

Any advice on a possible fix appreciated. Cheap amp, no output circuit protection, likely output transistor(s) blown. Richer Sounds are the only UK dealer and have a good, effective, and not too expensive Service Dept. They'll also lend you a replacement whilst yours is being repaired. -- Woody harrogate2 at ntlworld dot com |

Crap amp, not worth fixing. Household insurance should pay for a replacement if you can get a high enough quote for the repair. -- Eiron. |
