having a long lead time could mean the manufacturer has a poor suply
chain and limited manufacturing capability.


And nobody in their right mind would gear up to mass produce high quality
arms and turntables. The demand just isn't there - and such demand as
there is, once satisfied, would leave an expensive facility idle.
