....that Pinky has legged it over to RAT and is waving Sand Amps in their faces!! If amount of sand per active device is any guide, than sand amps use glass envelope valves. Indeed, there's probably more sand in the glass seals in a metal envelope valve (origional 6L6 for example) than there is in a power transistor. |

I do keep reminding them that glass bottles have a lot more sand content than transistors do, that's true................ :-) I suppose you've got to give the **** kudos for 'taking the fight to the enemy'...!!! It wasn't intended to be a fight, but Andre Jute turns out to be one of the most ignorant, egomaniacal and abusive jackasses that I've encountered in a long time. -- Stewart Pinkerton | Music is Art - Audio is Engineering |

Keith,
You are not helping anything with this. I remember the first time I ever actually noticed you it was cos I was dissing someone off for something far worse than just "being Stewart Pinkerton". If you're prepared to give it out like this, then be prepared to take it. Anyway ISTR a while ago, at least once, you threatened/promised to flounce from here. Flouncers ALWAYS come back, usually very soon. Martin |

The irony! Martin |
