I am looking for someone with listening experience of the Linn centre
speakers - Trikan vs. the more expensive Ekwal. Any opinions appreciated.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the Trikan (active) between Espeks (also
active). I've heard that the latter is better, but I am worried that the
design looks similar, apart from the ports on the more expensive one, so I
might perceive the same faults. Can anyone comment either way before I get
a chance to visit a dealer, some way off?

Hi Steve,

I had a Centrik for a short while with my Espeks and was not happy with it
at all. I am also tempted by the Ekwal, as it is designed to integrate with
the Espek range. For the time being I am just using phantom mode, which
produces excellent results.
