Tivoli - PAL -vs- Model One - Opinions please
 

I would be interested to read peoples' opinions on the Tivoli PAL
versus Tivoli Model 1

Does the PAL sound as good as the Model 1?

Does the UK model 1 still suffer from the mains hum? And does the PAL
also suffer from this?

I have heard the model 1 and was impressed in the shop - but how does
the PAL compare?

And what is the PAL's "battery pack" exactly? Is it 4 x AA NiMH
batteries, or what?
