Sony Speaker pins
Hi
I have a Sony DAV-S500 home theatre system. Naturally, the speaker wires that came with it are rubbish, so I've started to replace them with better items. The speakers are connected to the base unit via a plastic plug with two separate receptacles. Using a pin in the body of the plastic connector, it's possible to remove each wire from the plug. I'm left with a speaker wire with a crimped-on connector. For now, I've soldered a new wire onto this but I'm sure these crimped connectors are available somewhere, possible in a gold-plated version. If anyone knows where these are available, I'd be very grateful if you could let me know. Regards John Galvin, Ireland. |

No disrespect intended, but the DAV-S500 isn't exactly a high-end model; the
16 gauge wires it came with ought to be fine. I'd be surprised if there were any aftermarket upgrades. Mark Z. "John Galvin" wrote in message ... Hi I have a Sony DAV-S500 home theatre system.
