Default Audio CD Info

Hello.

A lot of the CDs I own when I play them on my computer in Windows
Media Player it displays the logo of the CD in the centre of the
screen when the album art setting is selected, and it also has a
smaller logo at the bottom right as well.

I'm just wondering, is this an actual hidden image on the CD itself or
as I suspect just a text link on the CD somewhere that lets the media
get the image from the web somewhere?

The reason I am asking is because I am making my own Audio CDs and
would like to have this album art feature, I'm just not sure on how
it's accomplished.

disable your internet connection then run Media Player and the CD. If NO
image then its coming from Tinternet. MusicMatch does same, it searches the
net for the graphics and displays it in a small window on the front end.

Run the test someone else suggests and let us know... I beileve it's
using graphics stored on a CDDB site on the net.... Or else linking via
that site to the CD's home page (Artist or publisher). However, this is
an assumption and I have never tested it. So run the test the other
respondent suggested

And then let us know cause I am interested as well

Also make sure your internet browser is not set to open the cached version
offline.
