them with an MP3 player in my kitchen instead of a radio. Your life's work appears to be complaining about the quality of DAB, but you are perfectly happy to have crap like this? -- *It's a thankless job, but I've got a lot of Karma to burn off Dave Plowman London SW To e-mail, change noise into sound. |

Your life's work appears to be complaining about the quality of DAB, but you are perfectly happy to have crap like this? I have a Rio Karma hooked up to Aego 2 speakers, and the quality is excellent. Generally not the case though, I agree. If the OP is interested, these are the speakers: http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/p.../source/kelkoo http://www.avreview.co.uk/news/artic...SP=&v=3&UAN=90 if you try, you can get them at about a tenner cheaper. |

Well encoded 320kbps MP3's are a *lot* better than DAB and are all but indistinguishable from the original CD -- The presence of this sig indicates that I'm under the influence of excess alcohol. Until I'm sober enough to remember to switch this sig file off, please treat the above as merely drunken ranting and treat it with the contempt it probably deserves. Most I know who have a DAB portable for kitchen use are more than happy with it.
