It has occurred to me from another thread that I can't recall a UK magazine
article or webpages that clear and reliably explain in detail the
protection circuits in the early issues of the Quad ESL63.
Anyone know of some webpages that already correctly explain the circuit(s)
across C14? Or an article somewhere like WW?[1] If not, and people aren't
clear how it works, I'll maybe add doing an explanation to my 'to do' list.
I've already got some 'quad mods' items on the list, so can add this. Only
snag being the usual 'round tuit' shortages... ;-
[1] I'm mainly concerned here with the 'overvoltage' arrangement rather
than the arcing sensor whose behaviour is more obvious.
