Hi,

I've spotted a Yamaha CDR-HD1300 on ebay.co.uk

http://shorterlink.co.uk/3926

Does anyone know if this player has a USB port, if not how is it
possible to connect to a PC?

Cheers
Mike

It's a good machine. I use one quite often.
It has coaxial and optical digital audio, plus analog
stereo inputs and outputs to and from your sound card.

Make sure if the machine is second hand that you get
a manual. You won't manage without it:-)))

Thanks for the reply.

I've been told that it's possible to edit track names via a PC. Any
ideas on how to do this? I can't see any evidence of a USB port.

I have never needed to edit track names, so that is not something
with which I am familiar. It may be a manual function (no pun
intended:-) The HD1300 is a very versatile machine. We use it
across the output of a digital audio workstation simply to make
incremental backups.

The machine is rack mounted, but I cannot recall seeing a USB
port. There is the possibility to input titles via RS-232C terminal.
Titles can be viewed on the inbuilt screen or via an external monitor.

No, it doesn't have a USB port. You can connect to audio outputs (analog or
digital) of your PC, and you can also use an RS232 connection for inputting
titles.

You can download an English-language owner's manual from Yamaha Denmark
