Hi de Fi-Do
Professor Stanley Unwin, was a BBC engineer long before he became an entertainer, so he should know a quality format when he sees one. On the subject of vinyl, he wrote: http://www.scbd.connectfree.co.uk/unwin/04.html Iain |

Shows that crack me up *every* time I see them a Dad's Army (the best ever, IMO) 'Allo 'Allo Stella Street Anything with Ronnie Barker in it (to varying degrees).... There are many others in both categories that do not spring immediately to mind.... ;-) |

My 'Funniest Person on TV' has just become Anne Robinson (who mercilessly rags the contestants on some quiz show) - I've just seen most of a proggie showing 'The Best Of' or summat (I was cleaning my brushes, so I didn't see all of it) - feckin' priceless!! :-) (And a wee bit cute in a 'Wicked Witch, it'll end in tears' kinda way, at times....?? :-) |

Her show, "The Weakest Link" to which she owns the rights, is shown, in local versions, in 22 of the 25 EU countries. Good luck to her, it's a popular format:-)) Iain |

She's naturally quite 'girly', but has a redhead's temper, and a tiny person's way of carving you up with words in lieu of having large fists. She's got the reputation as a PITA to work with. -- *What boots up must come down * Dave Plowman London SW To e-mail, change noise into sound. |
