Marantz CD Player Model CD 52 II SE
My 12 year-old Marantz CD player, as above, has developed a CD tray
problem. The plastic splined pulley which opens the tray has crumbled along the spline. The tray now functions in a very jerky way and occasionally needs a little manual assistance. My local repair shop tells me that a replacement pulley is no longer available, but I'm very reluctant to give the player the heave as there's nothing else wrong and its sound reproduction is far superior to that from the audio connections on my DVD player. Would anybody have any idea please, where I might be able to obtain a spare? |

I think it may be a Philips transport, which might make getting a spare a
bit easier. |
