Audio software advice please

Can anybody advise me on what software to use to edit voice recording (not
on Tape)
I'm trying to find software that will let me remove electronic clicks and
background noise, also two people speaking at once i.e.: the quieter voice
not being heard .

Thank any for any input

PS: is there any freeware that would do this??
