Any opinions about it? I got a chance to buy (66 pre + 606 power + 66
tuner + 67 cd that doesn't work).
Other than the CD that I couldn't hear, it sounds good, and looks
great. I'm a little worried about its age, and hope to be able to fix
the CD.
Also - how much would you pay for that combo?
how does it compare with the newer ones (77 / 99)?

606 is a very nice amplifier I would use it with Quad 44 pre amplifier

I lived very happily with that exact combination for a number of years.
I actually still own a Quad 67 CD player, still unopened in its box
after having its transport repaired by the Quad service department.

Partner with neutral, good quality speakers such as B&W 805Vs for
best results.

Thanks! I'm partnering with Quad's 63, which are amazing.
