Richard wrote: Any recommendations? Blue Point Special III http://www.davewhitter.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/sumiko.htm I've just bought my 3rd one; got it last Friday. As an extra bonus: They've upgraded it (not sure how though) to "EVO III" designation, and the price seems to have come down slightly. Used to be ~250 GBP, IIRC. This time I only paid 219, and that was WITHOUT trading the old one in. I could have got it for at least as low as 200 if I'd been more patient and waited for my usual store to get some in, because they do provide trade-ins for old BPS cartridges. The guy's got an ultralight SMEIII, he needs something *really* floppy, like a Shure V-15 (if he can find one). -- Stewart Pinkerton | Music is Art - Audio is Engineering |

Several of us have used it successfully (with a little re-jiggering of the weights) with a Denon 103D. Now, I use it with either an Ortofon SME30H or Shure MV30HE which were designed for it. Kal |

Sorry to 'hijack' this thread... but can you still get genuine Shure replacement stylii for something like a V15/III? I have one of these, but haven't replaced the stylus for some time. Don't use it a lot, but may need a replacement in time.
