Maggies "now available in Europe"?
Evening all,
I just seen at http://www.magnepan.com/the_offer.php that some Magnepan kit is now "Available in Europe". Anyone know what kit, and where? I'm keen on getting a listen, and fed up trying to find a good pair of ESL 63s without driving 150 miles. Ta, Glenn. |

Conveniently they don't give contact details for email, and I'm not
about to phone or write. |
Maggies "now available in Europe"?
Hi,
"Andy Evans" wrote in message oups.com... Conveniently they don't give contact details for email, and I'm not about to phone or write. You noticed that too? ;-) There's nothing in their distributor list outside of North America, and the only contact is via an 800 number (does that only work from the US?). If they are available in Europe, they aren't trying very hard to market them. Regards, Glenn. |

I think Magnepan speakers have been available outside the US for many years but the distribution effort is low key and the prices a bit higher than those in the US. In Germany the distributor is Taurus High End in Hamburg (www.taurus-high-end.de) who will also repair ribbons and midrange wires. There are also a small number of shops selling Magnepan in Germany. I am not aware of a distributor in the UK but that does not mean there isn't one. |
