Sony SBM-1 or PCI soundcard for A/D conversion?

Have to make some analog to wave conversions:
Should one use an external Sony SBM-1 A/D converter or the soundcards A/D
converter (AK4524VF) to make analog recordings in 16 bit at 44.1 kS?
