Just a quick note about a new newsgroup that might be of interest to
some people who use this group. The group is called alt.music.home-
studio. The group has been created for the discussion of issues relating
to home recording for musicians. Home Hi-Fi audio isn't ontopic in
alt.music.home-studio but as they are related subjects, I assumed that
some of the people that hang out here might be interested.

You can find the charter and a few more details by following the link in
my sig. The group was created after much discussion in alt.music.4-track
and rec.audio.pro. Just search google groups for "alt.music.home-
studio" to read some of this.

At the moment we are trying to get the group propagated to all servers.
If the group sounds like something you would be interested please
request it from your news server. Please, if you /are/ interested in the
group - do request it from from your news server. Don't just assume that
someone else probably will. Usually, all that is required is quick email
to your news server (I googled to find the email address of mine). When
you can get the group, just pop up a quick 'hi' in there.

If anyone has any enquires about the channel or needs any help getting
the group (or even just wants to talk about early Queen albums!) just
email me (mind the spam trap).
