Speaker/Driver Orientation Question

Ah, a fellow Dynaudio fan! Anyway, the _most_ important thing to me is
to get as much high treble into my ears as possible. I don't really care
about getting a flat frequency response; I just want MUCH treble, which
reveals the texture of vocals. I'm quite happy to sacrifice flatness in
favour of the best treble I can get. And I'm happy with what I have.
And the speakers are really _very_ good. Two years on, and I'm still in
love with them! (Sad? Me?!)

Well, I had a play around and they've ended up where they started ;-)

The 52SEs are splendid, and the top end sounds more open than the 42s
for example. The trouble is driving the bass in any of 'em - the only
amp that cuts mustard is an old Beard 100W valve amp.
