Phono preamp.
Maplin has a phono preamp in this month's special offers catalogue: QM51F at £14.99.
It may be crap but it's almost worth it for the case and psu. While I have your attention, does anyone know where I can get a Shure VN35MR stylus? As I can't get a stylus to fit my Linn cartridge I might as well resurrect the old V15. -- Eiron No good deed ever goes unpunished. |

Eiron, I got mine from Mantra Audio. www.mantra-audio.co.uk They do generic stylii for cartridges, but also Shure originals if you ask for them. I bought two, in case they became unobtainable later. One of mine is completely unused, and I could be persuaded to part with it if you can't get one from Mantra. S. |

Ditto the K9: http://electronics.audiopervert.com/...eplacement.htm Not quite the 'dog's' (another pun) but does the job perfectly well - tried it myself some time back. |
