FS: Clearance items (Take 2)
OK, it's clearance time again! I got rid of a nice lot of stuff a while back, but I am again *awash* with kit!! http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/item...emsforsale.htm This time I'm serious and it'll go on eBay shortly, I'm falling over stuff here! Ukranians can hit me for a 'pre-eBay' bargain and summat off the 'advertised prices' (email me direct), but be quick - some of this stuff will be on eBay at the weekend!! |

Too slow mi darlin's - I've had a bit of an oops!! :-) Earlier, I posted the Marantz CD63 Mk II KI Sig CDP with (I thought) a 'non-operating' remote for £150... Since when I found a switch on the back (while I was checking the pix) and the remote now operates *perfectly* (including volume control) with the switch set to 'Internal'!! (And all this time I thought it was busted!! Dohh!! :-) Then my son emailed me a link with this auction: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ayphotohosting Where the exact same same thing went for £265 + £15 P&P only last night!! Now, as I haven't exactly been beating people off wiv a stick, someone has missed a bit of a bargain here - if I had had a buyer for it I would have done the deal, wouldn't have given it a second glance and thought no more about it!! ;-) |

For a CD63 any flavour, £80 tops IMO... I wouldn't disagree - see he http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/show/cdpcompare.JPG I have level matched (courtesy of the attenuation capability in the Marantz) and time aligned (see the displays) two CDPs - the Marantz and the CD/MP3 player in an Argos POS stack that I have recently bought for the express purpose of comparing modern *budget* with older/pricier/'named' stuff. Playing 'identical' CDs (original and copy) and flicking between them at the press of a button, I *CANNOT* tell one from the other!! (Either on the Argos POS amp direct, or Line Out to a very revealing amp/speaker combination.....) The Argos (Acoustic Solutions SP122) is 79.99.... (My gun, my foot - *BANG*....!! ;-) |
