Hi

So the tuners on Ebay at:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=3052671477

With luck there will soon be one fewer tuners in the Houpt household!

Regards

David

You mention it's not DAB, so why list it in tuners - digital ?

Hi

Interesting this. No deceit was intended.

The display is digital. That seems to be the determining issue. When I
checked a number of other digital display tuners were in this section.

I wasn't sure myself. In fact I first purt the tuner in the analogue
section for that reason. Maybe I should have put it in both and paid
the extra fee.

Yeah, many sellers list digital display in the digital category.
I have made the suggestion to ebay to change it to DAB so that the confusion
may end.
as yet nothing has happened.

The confusion continues on the high street. I have seen radios with a
digital readout being described as digital.

I guess no-one is fooled if the seller makes the facts plain, as I
think I did. I agree with you that the category should be changed to
DAB.

"Digital tuner" implies "FM/AM with digital tuning". As opposed to DAB.

I can't remember what my old TU-380 says on the front though. Haven't
used it since I got Sky Digital as our FM signal is fairly poor round
these parts.
