Classic amp
Anyone know what a Yamaha CA-1000 amp is worth?
Classic from 1974. 100w per channel in Class AB, a quarter that when switched into Class A (producing to my senses no perceptible change in sound but a marked increase in heat output). Fully working after I replaced a few tired caps and transistors a couple of years ago. Could probably do with new power supply caps (slight hum on Class A) but otherwise fine. http://www.thevintageknob.org/YAMAHA...0/CA1000.html# Patrick Wallace ____________________________________________ |
