Quad 66 tuner problem

A friend of mine has a Quad 66 tuner.
Occasionally when powered up the display shows a nonsense frequency and the
preset displays that a number (up to six stations) are selected.
Also, when selecting mono, the display can show a nonsensical number.

Any fix known?
