Amazing!
What does this describe?
It "sets the reference for accuracy, neutrality, low distortion, and musicality" and it has "exceptional inter-transient silence, high mechanical stability and low leakage." The last few words may give it away - yes it is a (metallised polypropylene) capacitor!! What is more they range from 0.022uF (or 22nF to you and me) at GBP4 to 10uF at GBP21 each. Same outfit sells a 'contact suppressor and VDR" for the princely sum of GBP5.90 where the actual components from RS or Farnell, even in one offs, will cost less than 50p!! I will not publish the company name, but Yell finds the them in Kendal under hi-fi........ |

I don't know what put them there and I could neither get rid of them nor stop them extending as I typed - so I left them as they were. Hence why the layout looks odd. -- Woody harrogate3 at ntlworld dot com |
