Valve holders ...
Hi all
Anyone know of a good reliable supplier in the UK for B9A skirted and
shielded chassis mount valve holders ? Farnell keep some basic chassis types
still, but no shielded ones. Google didn't turn up much either. TIA

Excellent Don ! Thanks for that, and thanks for the quick response. The
'catalogue' page is a bit confusing at first glance, but I think I've got
the hang of the "mix 'n' match" way that a skirted chassis mount is made up
now. Very reasonable prices as well. I put a post up over on
sci.electronics.repair as well, so just ignore me if you see it there ...
Thanks again

Hey Keith, hows it a-gooin' me duck ? Trust you are well ? Thanks for the
info. I'm off to the states soon for a bit of a break. Perhaps I should pick
some up whilst I'm there !! I need them for a Vox AC30 that I'm refurbing
for my local dealer. One has been bodge replaced before, but both the front
end preamp valve holders are so poor that they virtually blow the speakers
out the front of the cabinet when you wiggle them. Not looking forward to
having to replace them. Lot of work. I think I've found what I need here
now - see Don's reply at the top. Catch you later.

Yes thank you Arfa, rude health and growing old fairly disgracefully -
bought a pair o' valve stem lights for me new bike earlier:

**HOO YAR** !!
:-)
Actually, they're just to wind my son up for a few moments - I haven't quite
lost the plot entirely yet, although the temptation to zap round the town
with 'em on will be strong! (Chav Capital of East Anglia here, but I hafta
admit it's actually *years* since I last saw a Chav!! :-)
Bet the bloody things'll let me tyres down!!
