Default eBay cheaper than a skip??

I have just listed a pair of speaker cabinets cut for Lowthers:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...0518&rd=1&rd=1

They are toss useless (beautifully made though) and I will happily hand them
over for a quid - there's absolutely no room for them in my garage/workshop
and it's cheaper than a skip or dragging them to the tip!!

:-)

Also, probably tomorrow, I will be listing a Helius Scorpio tonearm (in need
of refurbishment - rewiring &c. and needs a mounting collar) unless anyone
here wants it for a very reasonable sum....???

Why don't you freecycle them?

Thanks for the suggestion Jasee, but I don't really want to get into all
that. The speaker cabinets have already got a 99p bid on them and I'll
happily hand them over the doorstep for that (they were freebies and are no
good to me), the tonearm doesn't take up too much space so isn't a problem!
(Sod's Law says the minute I get rid of the arm a suitable deck will
appear!! ;-)

You might want to add the driver size in there somewhere? Or do they
only make one?

Just about - 19cm cutout, but there are a few rare models which use a
smaller hole (14cm?) and there are the in-situ fixings to consider (unless
the buyer is planning a serious hack job) - the queer thing is my EX3s had
to be turned 90 degrees to fit them! (Minorly ittitating as the EX's have
the name/model No. on the phase plug!)

(One of the beauties of Lowthers with their screw terminals is that you can
swap drivers in well under 10 minutes with just a single screwdriver! :-)

Oops! Throw that 'ittitating' out and put this *irritating* in its
place......

:-)

Can I keep that ittitating? It would be useful for those irritating
iterations of software I'm always having to download.

Sure, if you can use it - bit like the speaker cabinets, I'd sooner see
things recycled than binned!!
