Gapless recording

Can anyone tell me how to do gapless recording from wm11 to a Samsung mp3player or to an ipod nano? Or even if this is the correct NG to ask? Most of my music is old hippy crap where the tracks run into each other and it is most annoying to get a pause between tracks on an MP3 player. For LPs I always record a side as a single track. (Old hippies don't like to listen to less than an album at a time.) For CDs I have used Goldwave to copy several consecutive tracks as one. If you already have separate files, use an editor to join then together and, if necessary, smooth the join. -- Eiron. |

CDEX (at least my 1.70 Beta 2) allows you to record a section of a CD as a single track, defaulting to the full CD. http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/ -- Steve Swift http://www.swiftys.org.uk/swifty.html http://www.ringers.org.uk |

My son has given me an iPod 2nd Gen and that does gapless automatically.
Unfortunately it takes iTunes and not WM11. Also you must subscribe to be able to download the album art. What a bummer!
