Short of a death in the family (includes pets) or your old woman running
off with your best records, *eBay anguish* has got to be the worst
thing - I hope I don't find myself joining you!

I have just sent the recently much-mentioned (here) dodgy valve mic off
for a refund; the seller was a little *specific* about using Royal Mail
and *insuring* it and I don't mind admitting I had a waft of the
possibility of a 'lost parcel/insurance claim scam' brewing...???

(Way too far from here to *follow up* easily, needless to say....)

Close ones:

Stress from work.
Excelating dental problems.
Dog**** on (your) shoes when your late for an interview/date/movie.
Having to choose between asking people to take their shoes off and enjoy their smelly
feet or having to change the carpet once a year.

Reminds me I once read somewhere that eating at the outdoor/pavement
cafes in the cities on Le Continong, in hot weather, was a pretty
effective way of massively increasing one's ingestion of airborne
dog**** particles....
