Ronnie Hazlehurst.
Just heard on the news he's died. He composed and MD'd many of the most
famous BBC comedy show signature tunes - my favourite being Last of the Summer Wine, and Yes, Minister. He had an uncanny knack of making his music tell the basics of the situation.
