Yamaha DSP A5 Amp. Remote Fault
 

Hi,

I have a Yamaha DSPA5 Surround amp with a RAV211 remote control. Suddenly several of the
buttons on the remote have stopped working. eg. Play,Test,1,9,0,Rewind. The remote is
about 2 1/2 years old and hasn't had a lot of use. The fault was sudden. I have changed
the batteries. Has anyone else had a similar problem and found a simple fix. I have
e-mailed Yamaha who were very helpful and said "Unfortunately it sounds very much like the
remote has developed a fault, best pop the handset into your dealer so that they can
investigate further."
