Which CD player for Roksan Caspian integrated
 

Hi people,

I have just aquired a new Roksan Caspian Integrated amp as a present.
I am wondering which cd player would go well to complete my set up. I
was thinking of plugging for the matching Caspian cd player but have
now seen there is a new Arcam player out, the FMJ CD33 and wondered if
anyone had any opinions on either player. My speakers are Tannoy
Mayfair's (circa 1980) duel concentric speakers and they are rated at
60w (I think).

My main listening tastes range from artists like Tori Amos or The
Cowboy Junkies through to classical music like Schubert and Mozart. I
guess then a priority for my player would be one that treats
'beautiful music' and clear vocals well and is not sharp or too
bright.

For those that have not heard of Tori or the Junkies, I guess its
classed as accoustic vocal type music. Junkies are kind of country but
not quite, but they are very clear and open sounding and Tori, well, I
guess it's a girl and a piano ;o)

I hope that makes sense.

Any opinions much appreciated.
