iPod price reducton
I notice that Apple have reduced the price of the 80Gb iPod Classic to
£159 - so everyone (well, Currys anyway) are selling it at that price. The 160Gb is down to £229. Is it a loss leader - given that it was nearly twice that price only a few months ago - or are they selling them off as a precursor to the iTouch? -- Woody harrogate three at ntlworld dot com |

Isn't it just the case that technology gets better (supposedly) and
cheaper at a quite startling rate these days? The iTouch is a different thing altogether - web borwsing and other gadgets I believe - and only has 16 gig capacity, which is rather pathetic in this day and age. |

It is a very impressive piece of design/build, but that's relative to any other mp3 player I've had. And this is one piece of technology I want to 'just work' - my cheap mp3 player does that. So it'll end up on ebay at some point. Rob |
