Aiwa FX 90 cassette deck
I have got an Aiwa FX 90 cassette deck. Auto reverse and lots of
buttons and lights etc....but after getting it home I notice the connections on the back are all 8 pin din. Yikes ! I would like to know how I find out how to wire up a lead for normal play/record in and out. I think I can get an 8 pin din to scart and re-wire the scart end but I dont know which pin does what. A normal record and playback lead can be contained in a 5 pin din lead so why 8 ? Does anyone have this machine ?????? |
Aiwa FX 90 cassette deck
I bought a similar type of thing from Ebay, and it turns
out that it was a part of a set of separates. Could it be something like that? On 10 Jul 2003 05:42:09 -0700, (Mike Pratt) wrote: I have got an Aiwa FX 90 cassette deck. Like auto rec or play when the tape input is selected. The Japs in the past also used this type of socket for early remote controls! You could always open it up and see where the pins go. Of course this would need some rudimentry eletronics knowledge. Steve |
