The mints were not included! (Or is it me...??) You are forgetting the display quality presentation bag they came in, and of course the beautiful hand block printed instructions. Got to be 49 quid's worth of anyone's money. I remember noticing the rip-off prices of a lot of the stuff that got replaced when you dropped it. d -- Pearce Consulting http://www.pearce.uk.com |

Yes, of course - silly me!! I remember noticing the rip-off prices of a lot of the stuff that got replaced when you dropped it. Ah! Different bikes now - those kits are one each for my 'Bonnies': http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/bikepages/Twins.JPG The Suzuki was always going to end in tears (one way or the other) - I'm pleased to say that I'm mostly able to ride these *old-timey style* bikes in a much more sensible manner!! (Audio connection here? - You can get iPod power points for these Triumphs!! :-) |

Graham About a pint a week.... British iron, right? :-) Yep, Triumph - the make that *almost* killed Harley off! (And would have done, if it hadn't been for the miltary and police contracts they secured! ;-) Anyway, relax - they don't drip any oil at all (they are modern manufacture and only a couple of years old); I'm only winding Graham up in response to his silly comments - even the old Brit bikes didn't drip enough oil to give a bugger about, unless they were very poorly.... |

Yes, the 'height' for me is the bikes from the 50's and 60's and there's tons of them about for damn good money significantly *not* spewing oil everywhere! The only difference in the drip trays for 70s cars and bikes is that the ones for cars were quite a bit bigger! That said, 'we' (in the hands of #2 son these days) have a '74 Trident: http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/bike...%20Trident.jpg and that doesn't drip at all. (Doesn't run either atm, but let's not get into that!! ;-) |

Yep - the quick/obvious solution that allowed the Japs to play all sorts of games with main bearings, but not an absolute necessity with modern materials and machining capabilites! |
