No sound on PC
My sound was a bit tinny so I went into the Realtek HD Audio to change the
settings. I don't know what I changed, only the room type I think and now I can't get any sound at all, although the volume control is showing sound. |

Check that the main pair of speakers are plugged into the correct jack, and you've enabled setings on speaker configuration to match. I came across someone who had mistakenly plugged his 2-channel set into the "rear-channels" port of his multichannel capable PC ... and wasn't getting much out ... Also, this group is mainly for hi-fi audio equipment - not PC although the term "audio" is close. We haven't yet seen requests for help with doorbells and hearing aids - but that day will undoubtedly come ;-) -- Adrian C |
