Spendor tweeters?
Tidying loft, came across a pair of Spendor Preludes.
Unfortunately, one is lacking a tweeter. Now am I going to be able to source replacement tweeters, and is it worth it compared to speakers in current use - TDL Near Field Monitors? many thanks for any advice (It's going to be "no" and "no" explains why they were in the loft!). lol |

The best source of Spendor parts is Spendor themselves, even if they can no longer supply the part, they should be able to tell you what's the closest, and whether you would need to change both tweeters to match. I don't think the HF1300 has been made for some time but there should be secondhand units or a suitable alternative available for the sake of a bit of digging. As someone else has said, first try Spendor themselves. For 'bits' try Wilmslow Audio who are based at Hinckley. -- Woody harrogate three at ntlworld dot com |
