Rega P3 balance question

Hi guys,

I recently bought a Rega P3 2000 on e-bay. Yes it sounds a beautiful
as a P3 should sound. However I notice the right channel is pulling a
bit of more weight. My records that used to sound like coming from
the
'center' now sound like they have their sound pulled more to the
right.

The equipment came like 'factory' packed and I had to adjust the
counterweight etc myself, luckily the cartridge was already fitted. I
just thought of asking around here before taking in down to a service
center.

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Max

I'd say not mechanical if it sounds beautiful.

Cartridge contaminated? Perhaps some cleaning fluid of something has
wicked up the stylus and settled muck somewhere it shouldn't?

Try swapping some cart leads and noting any shift in this phenomena,
just to exonerate the rest of the chain.
