Leak Stereo 20 gold paint???
Hi, has anyone experience with which exact paint should be used for my Leak
Stereo 20 power amp - and how to get it? Its the gold paint version and has an area needing to be fixed. Thanks! |

Thanks! Metallic paints are notoriously difficult to patch. The easiest way would be to spray the entire unit. I did a wing mirror using Halford's metallic and got pretty good results. Call in and see if they have a close match. Thanks for response! It seems a carpainter can blend the right color -
luckily the letter areas are still intact. So being careful it should be possible to overspray the areas having wrong color without losing the print. If it's for sale, and these things have big "vintage" value, might "original but damaged" outclass "restored"? |
