Google glitch in browser
Can anyone help with this - I'm on Google groups and in Firefox and
Safari (I'm on a Mac) I get a sidebar down thew left which obscures the first part of the posts. Anybody had this and know of a fix? Happens on all groups, not just this. andy |

I get it in Firefox when I use Google Groups at work on a PC. I haven't tried IE but it looks like it would not depend on the browser, though I'm not sure. It is very annoying. Clearly Google haven't bothered testing it properly. It completely obscures the top 2 or 3 posts on a page at the top left. Martin |

Is that all the screen resolution you can manage? No!!!! I'm running 1920x1200 on a 24" LCD monitor. I just reduced the size of the window for the screenshot, to keep the file size down. The problem remains no matter what size the window is, though of course the fraction of the window area occupied by the offending overlay at the top left decreases as window size increases. Also, it's nothing to do with Linux, because I get it at work in Firefox on Windows XP. Martin |
