Tech. Spec. for AKG 'SolidTube' mic?
Anyone here with 'mic savvy' who can say if the tech spec on the valve mic I've just bought is OK? (All looks positively *luvverly* to me but what TF do I know? :-) Cut & paste from the online manual (formatting lost, of course): 3. Well, it sounds perfectly OK to me, but what do I know? What did make me larf is the 'rosy glow' of the valve (visible through a little red window in the front of the mic) is actually an orange LED set in the valve base!
