Alps 40mm detent pots

Anyone know who imports/sells the Alps 40mm detent pots in the UK? I've
been trying to find out via google but not found anyone who does these as
stereo 'log law' pots, and sell small quantities or one-off.

FWIW I still have some pots for my own use. But one of the projects I'm
working on may involve one, and I might then want to publish details so
readers can make something similar if they wish.

Slainte,

Jim

Have you had a look at The DigiKey site?
http://www.digikey.co.uk/
They have a UK presence - although everything is sent from the US, but
very quickly. Usually get things within 36 hours of the order. I've used
them for hall effect sensors no one in the UK stocks. Excellent company.
Might also be worth phoning CPC if you have part numbers - they can often
get even small quantities they don't list on their site.

Slainte,

You might want to ask Alps themselves who distributes for them - they
are in Milton Keynes on 01908 354210

esr.co.uk do some centre and 41 position detent pots - they don't
mention the make.

Cheers

The Chinese make a copy sometimes seen in their
valve amps. The pot is stamped "Elps"

Thanks. I'll phone them and ask. I couldn't find any mention of them when I
tried a 'google'.

So far as I've been able to tell from their website they don't do Alps
pots.

I'd need someone who would be happy to sell 'one offs' to individuals as
I'm thinking of a situation where other people might like to be able to
make their own clone of something I've made and used myself. I already have
a few pots of the type I need/use.

Alas, they just seem to be the 'small pot with a detent collar'.

And how does that differ from the ALPS?
