What's around these days which is small but good? High levels not
required. Some sort of present day Goodmans Maxim. ;-)
Would the Tannoy Mercury (FR or F1 Custom) be to
your taste?
I'll need to check the sizes.
The FRs are priced at about Euro 80, and the F1
Custom is about Euro 150 (retail)
That's within budget.
The Swedish Audio
mag "HiFi and Musik" (note Dave, how the two are
inseprable:-) judged the F1s to be the best stereo
pair under SKr 2000 (that's about Euro 200)
What for those who mainly listen to R4 etc so want good quality speech?
Your blinkers are rather obvious again, Iain.
Plenty low cost speakers can sound 'ok' on pop music but fall down
horribly on speech.
But for this app. they need to be decent all rounders.
